Environment Work Camp 2010

Samatat Open Scout Group & Ujjibitopran Society Jointly organized “ENVIRONMENT WORK CAMP-2010″ from 3rd June to 5th June at the Village South Noagaon under the district of Chandpur. 24 rover Scout work for the environmental development of the village.
The Camp was mainly designed to develop the awareness of the local people about environment. Rovers are work with Tree Plantation campaign, Improve cooking stove campaign, environment pollution for using poly bag etc. They also work for using bio pesticide instead of chemical pesticide in the cultivation.
Besides these activities rover scouts also arrange a cultural activity for local people where they used drama and song to aware the local people about environment.

Welcome to Samatat Open Scout Group first official website, which is also the first troop website of the country. Samatat is one of the renowned scout group of Bangladesh, which have all the six group of scout i.e. Cub scout group- boy & girl, Scout group- boy & girl, Rover-boy & girl. This group started it’s journey in 1976 for trying to do something better then all other scout group of Bangladesh. We always try to do something different and from this sequence we launch our website.
